DELWRAP

Delwrap is a 35 pound bleached kraft sheet that Norpak wet waxes on both sides with 15 pounds of a specific wet wax formula. This process creates a 50 pound sheet and imparts a high gloss water resistance to the product, thus making Delwrap an excellent packaging material for refrigerated food products such as sandwiches,  vegetables,  poultry,  fish and meat.  It is also widely used in the candy industry as dipping paper or as a tray liner.

Rolls:  12”,  15”,  18”,  20”  &  24”  @ 1,000 linear feet

Delwrap may be ordered to any customer’s specifications with minimum volumes required.  Delwrap can also be printed in up to six colors.

MICA

Mica is a 30 pound bleached kraft sheet.  It is wet waxed with 9 pounds of a special formula to bring the final product to a 39 pound basis weight. Mica has excellent moisture protection and less surface wax than Delwrap.

Like Delwrap, Mica is used for sandwiches, vegetables, poultry, fish, and meat. Mica is also used extensively in the meat industry as an interleaving sheet. Some special uses for Mica include packaging liners, inserts, and parts wrap. It is also used in the ink manufacturing industry as a mix sheet for color development formulas.
