| Delwrap is a 35 pound (57 GSM) bleached kraft sheet that Norpak wet waxes on both sides with 15 pounds (24 GSM) of a specific wet wax formula. This process creates a 50 pound (80 GSM) sheet and imparts a high gloss water resistance to the product, thus making Delwrap an excellent packaging material for refrigerated food products such as sandwiches, vegetables, poultry, fish, steaks, and meat. |

MICA |

Mica is a 30 pound (49 GSM) bleached kraft sheet. It is wet waxed with 9 pounds (14.6 GSM) of a special formula to bring the final product to a 39 pound (63.5 GSM) basis weight. Mica has excellent moisture protection and less surface wax than Delwrap.
Like Delwrap, Mica is used for sandwiches, vegetables, poultry, fish, steaks, and meat. Mica is also used extensively in the meat industry as an interleaving sheet. Some special uses for Mica include packaging liners, inserts, and parts wrap. It is also used in the ink manufacturing industry as a mix sheet for color development formulas. |
